Diamond Plate Thresholds for Roll-Up Doors

I’m not aware of any truly comparable product. The ordering and delivery process was fast, easy, and far more efficient than I expected. I anticipated it being a hassle, but everything was simple and handled smoothly. Based on this experience, I feel confident ordering again for future builds without worrying about delays or last-minute schedule changes.

I would buy again. Found that this Diamond Plate Threshold adds a good look to shed build and is built to keep water out.

The cost of the threshold was expensive enough and then you’ll have to add $20 for delivery. I think that’s a little excessive.

Previously purchased a threshold for a roll-up door for a swimming pool pump house. Fit perfectly as advertised.

Had another application for a set of 2nd floor barn doors that needed a similar threshold to eliminate or reduce damaging rain water intrusion. This was not a roll-up door application. And, the width of the door was smaller than 6'. So I cut both sides, fits well and will function as needed.

I wish I had this before I installed my eoll.up door as the door channels sit on it. I worked around the issue and the plate looks great and protects the flooring.

First was shipped a 5' instead of a 6', they reshipped quickly. Anyway installing was a breeze just make sure you caulk well on the corners before trimming out the door. We had rain the first night and all is dry, so glad I made this purchase, thanks for the speedy reshipment SW&M.

The diamond plate threshold is a must have for the elimination of water intrusion under a roll-up door.

It's unique design features a formed lip on the rear of the threshold that precludes water from migrating onto the interior floor.

The threshold appears to be stainless with a non-slip tread and came precut to 72" for my application (several sizes are available). I needed to trim 1/2" off of either side (length), easily done with a hacksaw. The width was a perfect fit.

The previous installation was a piece of angle aluminum. Water intrusion was damaging to the floor, which needed replacement.

I am pleased because I will be able to modify it to fit as I planned to do when I ordered it. I am disappointed because had I known the actual shape and dimensions I could have ordered the 6 ft. size and not had to modify it. For your benefit I suggest you show some details in photos like the raised lip and the ridge along with dimensions. Anyway, I wanted to let you know it arrived safely and I'm satisfied with the threshold.
Update: It's installed and we've had several rains and not a drop inside which can be a problem with plain flat thresholds and rollup doors. Very pleased with the threshold. Still need to add dimensions on your wedsite.
