PVC Square Gable Vent 12" x 12"

This vent is high quality plastic, and was easy to install. Plan on buying 2 more for my other shed. Made in Canada too eh, thanks Duraflo.

Seems like a good product. I wish they would include the mounting hardware, but that's not a hard thing to pick up elsewhere. Seems like it will hold up well and keep birds and large insects out. I did glue a mesh screen just behind the vent slats to keep out the smaller insects as well.

Good quality plastic vent. It DOES have a square flange on the back that I cut off, albeit a bit tediously, with an xacto knife for a flush mount on a plastic covered greenhouse. There are places for holes to be drilled but its not pre-drilled. The openings do have a plastic grate to stop larger bugs but its not going to stop mosquitos or spiders, etc.

I'm on the windward side of Oahu and the trade winds are hard on home and hardware; installed 3 winter 2017-18 (ya, ha-ha). I first primed with Zinsser Bondz (quart size mixed with 50% tint of my house paint) and then painted them the house color; added Flood Floetrol (latex based) to both primer and paint so I could use a brush. Buying two more to replace a pair of rusty metal gable vents.
